Padlet is a digital bulletin board that allows users with the link to post comments, video, picture, and audio files to the board. It is a collaboration tool with many different classroom uses that your students will love!
Padlet is available as a web-based tool that can be accessed from virtually any device! You also have the ability to download Padlet on your tablet or Smart phone from the App or Google Play Stores.
How can I use Padlet?
Class discussions (simply post a question and have students add comments and suggestions)
Classifying elements of a book or story (main characters, setting, main idea, etc.)
Sorting pictures by shape or color
Quick assessment or exit tickets (have students post a question they have or 2 truths/1 lie about a topic you have covered)
A scrapbook of photos from a field trip or the end of the year
Thank you letters (for guest speakers)
Setting up your first one
Visit padlet.com Click "Log in with Google" to save time and sync your Padlet with your Google Account Once logged in, click "New" on the top right corner.

Choose from blank canvases or use choose from one of the templates available.
Changing the settings
Add basic info such as a title and description.
Change the wallpaper and layout (you can set the layout to stream)
Change privacy settings
Click address to get the link to your Padlet
How to access the Padlet
Click the Share/Export button (highlighted on the right) to see the many ways your students can access the Padlet
You can export the Padlet as a PDF to print the comments after students have finished posting
Keep scrolling down under the "Share/Export" options, and you'll find a QR code your students can scan to access the link. Students can scan QR codes on your computer or SMARTBoard if need be.

To find the link on your Padlet: Login to Padlet and select the Padlet you are going to submit. Copy the URL in the address bar in your browser copy and paste the URL into an email to [email protected]
